The 1,520 acres consist of rolling foot hills that meld into the vast Beaverhead National Forest. The Big Hole River is across a gravel road from the entrance to the ranch.Located in Southwestern Montana![]() The York Gulch Ranch is in the Big Hole Valley close to the town of Wisdom and 3 and a half miles from the Anaconda Pintler Wilderness Area.
Improved grazing management has been a focal point of Greenbridges' management of the York Gulch Ranch. By reducing cattle numbers and keeping stock away from sensitive riparian areas, we hope to improve the health of the ranch and the York Gulch stream. We worked with the Natural Resource Conservation Service to conduct a Riparian Assessment which helped us to understand the individual complexities of these locations. We are participating in the Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks CCAA for Artic Grayling and will install headgates to increase control of our irrigation and enhance habitat for Fluvial Arctic Grayling. ![]() For information about the York Gulch Ranch and future ownership opportunities, please contact us. |
